Einige Kommentare:

«In January 2006, United States Interests Section in Havana based in the Swiss Embassy (the United States doesn’t have an official embassy in Cuba…) began displaying messages on a scrolling «electronic billboard». On the fifth floor of the building that accommodates them, the Americans displayed an electronic billboard streaming news and human rights messages.»

«There was deeply felt anger from Fidel Castro who instantly ordered the erection of an odd folding-screen made of flags and pretty colored placards with the aim of shielding his countrymen’s eyes from the American messages.»
«The flag poles, some of which are over 30 meters, are apparently de-signed to create a barrier in front of the electronic sign.
The flag pole project officially formed part of an expansion of the “Anti-Imperialist Plaza”, which was built five years ago outside of the U.S. Interests Section. According to rumors that The Daily Journal (Caracas) reports, the new site is meant to symbolize the Cuban people’s “years of struggle” for independence.
